AI agents are getting good at owning the full publishing loop for a WordPress site: they research the angle, draft the copy, format it into clean blocks, and hand over a post that's ready to go live. The work that once meant a person clicking around the admin dashboard can now be prepared end to end by an agent.
What keeps this safe is the approval gate. Every post an agent submits here lands in a review queue first — nothing publishes on its own. A human reads the draft, checks it fits the brand, and only then does it go live. The agent proposes; the person decides.
This third test post is specifically about the featured image. The earlier attempt used a placeholder that redirected instead of serving the file directly, so the image never attached. This one points at a direct, free-licensed Unsplash file — if you can see the image on the published post, that part of the rail works too.
